A new way to study

I found that I actually learn a lot better when I'm not reading. Yes i really mean it I understand better thru online lectures. It's really awesome I find the topic I have to learn online usually you tube. I play the video till I get it and quiz myself on what I know it's pretty awesome.Thru learning about the flipped classroom, I spend less time studying cause all i would be doing is reading it over, and over again, which is never fun especially if I don't remember what I read. Studying is a little more fun now, once I start one video I get curious of other topics relating to it. I come to class better prepared, and ready for questions.

Using the flipped method with other classes

I hate science, I don't get it ,and feel as if it's a different language. But when I would look at video blogs from other teachers online for anatomy I found that it's really not as difficult. I played the video about muscles and tissues till i basically know it word for word and scored a high grade on my previous exam. I found that I don't have to wait till the professor flips the class, I can do so my self , and I love it. It's a great feeling knowing what the professor is speaking of in class. Thank Dr.Hamon I guess I'm not so stupid after all.

Monster In Law

How does one deal with annoying In laws. My boyfriend's mom hates everything I do when it comes to caring for her son. She thinks my cooking has to much spice, my ironing sucks, and I cant mop like she can. She would call me just to let me know what she cooked, and how everyone loves it. Just the other day she needed a ride to the mall, and her other daughter in law refused to take her, and for the first time I heard this woman say something nice about me to her son, on how if it was me she wouldn't have missed the sale mind you I was home. She wont stop calling me now, my boyfriend thinks this is funny...how do I deal with this Help?

NEW JOB

Let me start off my Thinking God, he is able. Today was the first day at my new job, this place is beautiful. It's called the Breakers Hotel. I wanted to leave Hospitality all together but having my orientation I fell in love. The insurance that they provide is the best plus they pay 50 percent of your premium. I've worked in Hotels before but never one like this.There is a ballroom that has a a ceiling of gold. A carpet that moves in every direction you move. Plus George Lopez the comedian walked past my orientation group. I work in the food and beverage department and I learned if I ever need more hours I can pick up any shift from their many restaurants. I love this job!

My new Stepmom

Hi, fellow classmates I got a really funny phone call the other day from my mom telling me that my father is now a married man. I was proud of him finally I thought my Father remarried. Though I never knew he was dating someone I was still happy for him. While listening to my mother talk I heard her say the young lady's age. Get ready for it I'm 24 years old the girl is three years older than me. My father is 55. I hope I didn't ruin your lunch like my mother did mine. That's all folks.

With all that is going on, Being laid off due to my job having 12 million renovations, someone stealing my identity,my hospital scare, and falling behind in EVERY class. I knew this was part of life, tough obstacles are sure to come but I will cross over. I refused for depression to hit me, and I know I'm not weak I'm prepared for more upcoming battles. I said to my self Okay I got this.Friday the Breakers called me and wanted me to start this upcoming Wednesday. Not only that but my pay is alot higher than it was at the country club I worked at. $14.50 plus service charge and tips versus $15.00 flat. I'm very grateful, and I cant wait to start so I can save up. I've learned one must save. You don't know what life is going to throw at you be prepared.

Catching up with Everything

Though I missed a week and a half of school. I'm Totally behind in every class it's very overwhelming knowing I don't have much time left but I'm really trying thank God for Yennifer and a few other classmates who are sharing their time with me so that I can catch up.
